This item is being listed as part of a decluttering of my parents' home. It was used by my father, who enjoyed bonsai, to display his creations indoors. The exact material is unknown, but it is made of a very hard and substantial natural wood. Unlike inexpensive display stands available today, this piece has a solid weight, and the unique luster and wood grain, deepened by years of use, will enhance whatever is displayed on it. - Size: Height 38cm, Top surface 30cm square *Please allow for slight errors due to amateur measurements. [Product Details] A height of 38cm for a takajoku (high stand) is a standard height for displaying bonsai in a tokonoma (alcove) or at exhibitions, allowing the artwork to be seen at its most beautiful. The practical square top surface, 30cm on each side, is a versatile size suitable for anything from medium-sized bonsai to vases and incense burners. Its height and width are perfect for placing beside a sofa or bedside table, so why not consider it if you're not a bonsai enthusiast but appreciate Asian-inspired interiors? [Product Condition] As this item was actually used to display bonsai, there are some minor scuffs and signs of use on the top surface, but these contribute to its dignified feel as a vintage piece. There is no significant wobbling or structural issues, and it can continue to be used practically for many years to come. *Please check the photos for the condition. It will be sold as-is, so we hope to pass it on to someone who understands the charm of antiques and old tools. ■ Size Please check the photos for yourself. [Notes] Please consider this information before making a purchase. The condition is subjective, and to prevent any issues, those who seek perfection or are sensitive about condition should refrain from purchasing. We kindly ask that only those who are satisfied with the product's condition make a purchase. For security reasons and to prevent fraud, returns will not be accepted. ■ Shipping As this is a cherished item with memories attached, it will be carefully packed with cushioning material and promptly shipped via Mercari delivery. #FlowerStand #DisplayStand #BonsaiStand #Takajoku #IncenseBurnerStand #AntiqueFurniture #VintageFurniture #Wamodern #Antique #OldTools Click here for the manufacturer's site
