【Experimental Product】 *This item is offered at a lower price as it is in its pre-restoration condition. *If no buyer is found, it will be repaired and redesigned for resale. This is an armchair believed to be from the late 19th to early 20th century, in the French style (Louis XV Revival). ⸻ ■ Story This chair once had a time when it viewed the world from a slightly lower vantage point. It was a custom-made low chair for a wet nurse to breastfeed her baby, This is what we heard from our supplier. Whether it's true or not, we don't know. It might have simply been used that way in an English home after coming from France. However, this low seat height of 33 cm might not have been for efficiency or style, but rather a height to be closer to people. Over a long period, the legs have quietly decayed, and the termite damage is quite old. Therefore, this time, we are offering it as-is to those who wish to restore it themselves, or to those who want to purchase it cheaply and work on it. If, no one chooses the next chapter for this chair, we at IKOI will take it back, thoroughly repair it, restore it to perfect condition, and then plan to resell it. Currently, it stands at a crossroads. ⸻ ■ Condition (Please be sure to check) *There is termite damage to the legs, and the wooden parts are quite brittle. *It is not usable in its current condition. *The upholstery also shows scuffs and wear. *This item is intended for restoration. *Please examine the photos carefully and consider purchasing only if you understand and accept that this is an antique and pre-restoration item. ⸻ ■ Size *Width: Approx. 63cm *Depth: Approx. 55cm *Height: Approx. 83cm *Seat Height: Approx. 33cm ⸻ Shipping Information For deliveries within a 30km radius of our Higashimurayama store, we offer our own delivery service (cheaper than Ta-Q-Bin). Pick-up is also welcome. For distant locations, Ta-Q-Bin is available (shipping costs may be higher). → Please contact us via DM or Mercari comment for details. For multiple purchases, we offer a small discount as a CO₂ reduction for combining shipments. Please feel free to inquire. Due to the condition of the legs, this item is prone to damage during shipping. Therefore, we kindly ask for your consultation regarding the shipping method in advance.
