Wonderful vintage Huot Serrater and Meat Tenderizer by Huot Manufacturing Company of St. Paul, Minnesota. This unusual mid-century kitchen gadget was designed primarily for making wrinkle-edge/crinkle-cut French fries, but the original literature also advertises it for cutting fruits, vegetables and pickles, tenderizing meat and trimming bread for fancy sandwiches. Features a 6-inch stainless steel serrated/crinkle blade, plated metal frame and red handle. Even better, this example still includes its original illustrated cardboard box and original printed information insert — fantastic for a collector of vintage kitchenware and advertising. Included: • Huot Serrater/crinkle cutter • Original cardboard box • Original printed insert/instructions Condition: Vintage preowned condition. The metal cutter appears quite clean for its age with normal age-related wear. Original box shows considerable storage wear, including edge wear, creasing, discoloration and paper loss/tears as pictured. Original insert remains present and displays nicely. Please review photos carefully for complete condition. Measurements: • Blade Length: 6 • Total Width: 6.5 • Total Height: 4.5 Keywords: Crinkle Cutter, Wavy Slicer, Retro Kitchen, Mid-Century Modern, MCM Decor, Kitchen Gadget, Antique Utensil, French Fry Cutter, Vegetable Garnishing, Food Prep Tool, Minnesota Made, Collectible Kitchenware, Farmhouse Kitchen, Kitsch, Culinary History
