⚠️ The bamboo sword shown in the photo is not included. This listing is for the bamboo sword bag only. ⚠️ Although the item is new and unused, it is a vintage remake, so the condition is listed as No noticeable scratches or dirt. Product Description I previously commissioned a fellow local craftsman, who specialized in Upcycled Casual and Japan Vintage Remake, to sew my items. However, inspired by the words, Why don't you try making them yourself this time?, I have started making them myself. For some parts, I have used new woven-sash fabric (washed several times) in the darker navy areas. This bamboo sword bag is made by dismantling old Kendo uniforms, preserving the original shape and cutting lines as much as possible. I have intentionally left in distortions, marks from removed strings, and stitching marks to create a one-of-a-kind item that allows you to feel the time the material has lived through. The tip is made of sulfur-dyed navy deerskin. This is a durable material used for protective gear, so there is no worry of color transfer during transport. Specifications Example storage: Photographed with 3 bamboo swords of size 3.8 stored Size: Width approx. 15cm / Length approx. 140cm String: Indigo-dyed approx. 85cm Materials: Old Kendo uniform (cotton, indigo-dyed sashiko weave), tip part navy deerskin (sulfur-dyed) Please Note (Must Read) This product is a one-of-a-kind item made from repurposed old Kendo uniforms. Please purchase only if you understand that it has an outlet-like finish with thick material. As we utilize the original shape, there may be distortions in the cut, marks from removed strings, and individual differences in color and texture. Please purchase only if you understand and appreciate these as unique characteristics. Click here for the manufacturer's site
