★ Product Information ★ [Description] This is a close-combat weapon for the Type 30 rifle, adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1897 (Meiji 30) as the successor to the Murata-style bayonet. It is a core bayonet that can be attached to subsequent main rifles such as the Type 38 and Type 99, and was used in close combat by the Imperial Japanese Army for approximately 50 years until the end of World War II. There is a stamp from the Kokura Army Arsenal (Tokyo Artillery Arsenal) at the base of the blade. The remaining part of the blade is a remnant without sharpening and has no edge, so it cannot be used as a weapon. It is a safe art craft with no illegality. The hilt is missing and the scabbard is made of iron, so it is rusted commensurate with its age, but the locking mechanism works properly and there are no issues with insertion or removal. As this is an old item, please be aware that there may be scratches, dirt, rust, peeling, fading, and dust accumulation in small areas due to age and long-term storage.
