Classic vintage early 2000s (Y2K) The North Face Recon daypack / hiking backpack in a versatile black colorway with bold red and white contrast hits. This model stems from the highly collectible The North Face Equipment era, famous for its tank-like durability and timeless utilitarian layout. Perfect for campus, everyday work commuting, gym use, or a rugged retro tech look. Features: - Large front mesh stash compartment with an adjustable buckle strap - Multi-compartment utility: Large main storage section, secondary organizer wall with slots, and a separate rear tech slot - Padded back panel and comfortable heavy-gauge shoulder straps with an adjustable sternum chest buckle - Side compression cinch straps, dual water bottle mesh pockets, and a hideaway support waist belt Approximate Dimensions: - 19 H x 13 W x 7 D Condition Note (Please Read): The exterior of the backpack is in good vintage shape with normal light scuffs, intact outer mesh, and fully functional heavy-duty zippers. However, there is significant flaking, peeling, and delamination to the interior waterproof lining coat along the upper seams of the back pocket compartment (clearly shown in close-up photos). It still holds gear perfectly, but expect some typical vintage lining shedding inside that section.
