This is the LAMELLA PENDANT 4 by LE KLINT, a pendant light designed to be hung from the ceiling. It features a design created using the Plica technique from LE KLINT's archives, where countless pleats are folded from a single plastic sheet, creating curves without sharp apexes. Product Number: KP1345GO (Gold color) Size: Diameter: 210mm Height: 270mm Weight: Approx. 0.5kg Cord Length: 1.5m Total Length: 1700mm Shade Material: Flame-retardant PE resin *Plastic type. Compatible Bulb: E17 Current Retail Price: 110,000 yen Included accessories are the instruction manual, a light bulb, and a flange (a decorative cover for the ceiling connection). A cord reel (a part for adjusting and storing the cord length by winding up excess cord) is also included. It was used for a total of about six months, so there are signs of use. Overall, it is in very clean condition. There are no particularly noticeable stains, scuffs, or scratches. Please check the photos for details. Below are the detailed descriptions. The LAMELLA lighting series by Takagi & Homstvedt. Organic Form: Characterized by flowing, seamless curves that mimic the gills on the underside of a mushroom. Its rounded form, which somehow evokes Japanese chochin lanterns, harmonizes well with Japanese-style rooms. Shade Material: Made from durable, flame-retardant PE resin. It is resistant to UV rays and heat, has high light transmittance, and is resistant to static electricity, making it easy to clean. The Plica handcraft technique from LE KLINT's archives was adopted to express the intricate pleats reminiscent of a mushroom. The Plica technique, which involves folding countless pleats from a single plastic sheet to create curves without sharp apexes, is extremely difficult to master. This unique production technique, which had not been used in LE KLINT products in recent years, has been revived across time. Born as a new design, LAMELLA offers a modern aesthetic with a touch of nostalgia. Thank you for your consideration. Click here for the manufacturer's site
